I sometimes get bad migraine headaches if I wake up with lights in the room. I wanted to block out more light than standard curtains. Continue reading “Wood Window Curtains”
The past month has been full of up and down with this new computer.
First this is an amazingly FAST computer as you can tell in my Benchmarks of the AMD Ryzen.
I have done some Video Editing and it is very smooth. This PC can keep up with some intense stuff. Check out all the unboxing videos I made and edited using the new AMD Ryzen 1700x editing PC! (Scroll down to see)
But then there are all the times I am listening to music and the sound gets slow and makes a digital sound, then the BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death)…
These are just some of the times it crashes, I couldn’t always get my camera out in time. Continue reading “Using AMD Ryzen for 1 Month + Unboxings!”
Now that the room is being moved around a lot, we needed more storage under the bed. I measured and made huge shelving to store a lot of stuff out of the way but still accessible.
Since the Swap meets have been very slow, we turned our focus more towards online sales using eBay.com. I have been selling on there since 2004, but mostly focused on rare parts for people to repair electronics.
We have been gathering items for the swap meet from friends and family, but most of these items are not good for online sales (too much competition, or value too low to ship item). We needed better inventory. Continue reading “Buying at Thrift stores for Resale”
I have been making weekly videos for a few of my YouTube channels and I can not keep up with the editing using my old PC.
When I was editing footage from my DSLR camera, I would hit play to preview what changes I made and the audio would play but the video would not. At this point I knew I needed a new PC!
My Editing PC is an old 2 core AMD Phenom II x2 3.4Ghz which I UNLOCKED TO 4 core. I then overclocked from 3.4Ghz to 3.6Ghz! But this was with a very old Video card (AMD Radeon HD 5450 -1gb ddr3) and slow 800Mhz ram.
Here comes the 8 core AMD RYZEN to the Rescue!
Top down DSLR camera mount DIY
I changed the layout of the room and needed to make a new way to mount my camera above my desk. I used to have the camera mount to the bottom of my loft bed, but now my desk is across the room from the bed. Continue reading “Easy and Cheap Top Mount Overhead Camera Setup”
I needed a remote switch for my computer because I recently mounted My PC on the wall and did not want to get out of my chair to turn on the computer.
This is a very simple project that only involves 2 wires and a switch.
